I just had a sad conversation with Margaret Rostron. She told me that Mike Marlatt has passed. We talked awhile reminiscing about the past and this event in particular. I still have the instructions on how to get to the restaurant. I just scanned it to share:

Aug 5 1992 Boeing Wichita 777

Some New Programs opened up around August of 1992 and a lot of shoppers were leaving for more money. Some uninformed "placement specialist" in Boeing’s personnel department thought she could take on the Job Shopper community by posting the following letter on the bulletin boards with the intention of frightening the shoppers. Her original letter was soon replaced by a new version created by an industrious job shopper.

Did I mention that Dan Austin was pretty dangerous with a Xerox machine? Somehow he got a hold of the bosses badge and made this image. Unfortunately the boss still blames me to this day and threatened to fire me at the time after he saw this picture plastered, by 4 guys, all over the Boeing Campus. I got blamed and had nothing to do with it ... if you want to know who the 4 guys were then go ask Larry Cox.

When Dan Austin showed up to Philly he made this one of our friend Richard Logston. Sean Taba could never understand why anyone would name their child Deek!

Here is a real poor but effective job done on the late Homophobic Mark Krzyzewski. Mark was a little narrow in his views of people not like himself. Sean Taba posted this up on the Boeing bulitin board and then took Mark by to see it ... Sean says that Mark feel to the floor gasping for air.

My Xerox technique was not a refined as Dan Austin's however, I did make a couple of pictures to poke fun at our new friends.

The first one is a shot showing Sean Taba dressed as an Arab. You have to realize that Sean Taba is Iranian and "Hates F*@kin Arabs" well at least that is what he wanted us to believe. So here is a shot takin the piss.

1992 Boeing 777 Wichita

When I showed up in Wichita for the 777 I met Dan Austin, who happened to be very dangerous with a xerox copy machine. Our offload manager was a south Philly groomed man named Chris Falo. About the same time as our gig the national inquirer published a picture of an alien shaking hands with Bill Clinton. Dan fused the pictures together to make this classic spoof on the 777 Job Shoppers.

A-12 D3 Technologies 1991

When the A-12 went into the toilet the San Diego tribune published this cartoon in the spring of 1991 ... you may remember that Dick Cheney was secretary of defence at the time.
